- How long does the entire experience last?
The game itself can last up to 60 minutes, but the entire experience normally takes one and a half hours. We give you a briefing before your game starts, and a quick debriefing with photo opp after the game ends.
- How soon should I arrive before my scheduled game time?
We require all players to arrive 15 minutes before your game time starts. This allows us to review simple guidelines of the game, fill out and sign waivers, and deal with last-minute bathroom needs. Your adventure starts promptly at your scheduled time. There are no refunds for late arrivals and no-shows.
- Does my party play together with other groups?
You have a choice – click the “Private Room” field during checkout and it’s all yours!
- May I leave the room in the middle of the game?
You may leave the room at any time. However, you may not be allowed to return to the game once you have exited the room. No refunds or rescheduling will be allowed!
- What if we need clues or hints during the game?
Your group is assigned a personal Game Master, who can provide hints to your group with the unanimous vote of all players in the room.
- May I book a large group or private event?
Yes! You need to contact us directly so we can advise you on what is best for your group and plan to best accommodate your group’s needs.
- What age ranges can play the game?
Anyone can play our games in groups ranging from two to eight players. We recommend that children under the age of 6 do not play, as they might not understand the games. Groups wishing to bring children ages 5 and under need to arrange a private room. Participants 11 years of age and under must have an adult in the room with them. Players ages 12 to 14 must have an adult on site during the entirety of the activity. Participants under 18 years of age must present a signed waiver by a parent or a legal guardian at the time of their experience.
- What skills do I need to play?
No special skills or knowledge are required to play the games. Being a team player will be your best tool!
If you need to reschedule, please contact us directly by phone or email. You can reschedule with a $5 per person rescheduling fee if you contact us 24 hours before your booked time. If a booking needs to be rescheduled within 24 hours of your scheduled time, there will be a $10 per person rescheduling fee. Bookings can only be rescheduled one time, after that there are no changes to a scheduled time.
If you need to cancel and do not wish to reschedule, you must cancel your adventure no less than 72 hours prior to your scheduled time. NO REFUNDS will be given within 72 hours of a scheduled booking time. All refunds will be subject to a 10% cancelation fee. Refunds WILL NOT include the booking service fee. All refunds will be based on the original booking date and time.
If Get a Clue Room Escape needs to cancel your reservation, we will only do so due to some unforeseen circumstance. If this happens, we will make every effort to contact you ahead of time using the contact information in which you provided when you booked your reservation. If, in fact, we are unable to provide you with the experience you booked, we will give you a full refund to the credit card that your reservation was charged on.
